1-3/4" Vacuum-Brazed Turbo Segmented Core Bit

This Vacuum-brazed diamond core bit is built for drilling clean holes in granite and other hard stone.  This unit's 1-3/4" (≈45mm") diameter with a 5/8"-11 female thread Turbo-segmented rim starts faster than a continuous rim and clears slurry so the bit does not load up.

These diamonds are vacuum brazed to the cutting edge instead of sintered or electroplated. That allows bond to hold on dry work and still run wet when you want more life and less dust. 

Fits a standard 5/8"-11 angle grinder or a drill with the same thread. Use it for faucet holes, fixtures, and small penetrations in granite, engineered stone, marble, porcelain, and similar materials.

Use

• Thread fully onto a 5/8"-11 spindle. Do not run it loose.
• Start at an angle or with a guide to keep the rim from skating, then bring the bit vertical.
• Light, steady pressure. Let the diamonds cut. Forcing the bit glazes the grit and overheats the braze.
• Water extends life and keeps the core from seizing in the hole. Dry is acceptable for short holes when water is not available.
• Clear the plug often. (*Do not use this bit on wood or soft metal.)
